The last year and a half of working on LiveSide have been absolutely incredible. I have met a lot of great people, seen a lot of cool things, and have had a blast doing it. My experience with LiveSide has also opened up a few other opportunities for me. CNET recently contacted me about an opportunity to write about web services for their new blog network which just launched today. I decided that, despite the obvious extra time commitment, it would be worthwhile to pursue this offer.
As of today, in addition to my work on LiveSide, I will also be writing The Web Services Report for CNET. That does not mean that I am leaving LiveSide or anything like that, I am just taking on another challenge. This is something that I have wanted to do and I think that it will be interesting to look at web services more broadly and see how Windows Live fits into the big picture.
