At this year's CES, Microsoft announced a partnership with DirecTV to bring more content into the living room. It seems we are starting to see some of the results of this partnership today. A scan of the March 2006 issue of OXM (Official Xbox Magazine) has found its way onto the internet and, surprise, it includes plans for Microsoft to add a DirecTV blade to the Xbox 360 Dashboard. Details include being able to download Hi Def TV, HD Movies on demand, and standard definition streaming TV functions (think TiVo.) Should be interesting to see how this plays out in the near future.
