Movie Maker, up until now a feature of Windows, will join Windows Live Photo Gallery

re: Movie Maker to join Windows Live family with Wave 3

Nice UI, but no new header here either! :( I'm confused about where the timeline and storyboard are, though...

I know this isn't the final version, but it really doesn't look like we'll get that :( :( :(

I love the Ribbon, but this is a pretty poor implementation of it, even for a beta. I wonder if it'll also have the similar Office features like Live Previews before applying changes, highlight and contextual mini-toolbar pops up, etc. It'd be great.

I want more stunning visual effects and graphics (to rival Apple and Adobe's superb collection), more fonts, color manipulation, "real" HD, online sound effects library, etc. I doubt if Microsoft can reach that high, but it never hurts to try.

If so..then great...curently, I'm experiencing a bug that freezes the program on the first attempt at publishing any video, so I have to close, re-open, re-load the project, and it publishes only then. It becomes a hassle since I use it every day. I hope the "Live" version will "refresh" my current configuration because I have no idea what program I installed or thing is causing this.

And somehow convince those on the non-Live versions to move on up.
