I was hoping for an update for Live Favorites (US version) but not this kind of update. I use Google Bookmarks as my homepage but would've switched to Live Favorites if multiple tabs could be opened.

Be that as it may, I still think SkyDrive does have its place, because it allows you to make files available publicly, whereas [currently] Mesh folders are not public, you have to be invited to the folders.

This makes it still quite useful in my opinion.

They've been there for a while. But they are not ver usefull. I mean...

Why would I use Skydrive, if I have to browse to a page, upload the file through a tedious system...

Same applies for Live Favourites. I was a beta tester. But there is no reason to install that ugly toolbar and it always brought me problems.

I still use Live Mesh. Muuuch more usefull. Maybe if they include a synch in IE8...

Here is my take on mesh and skydrive

skydrive is similar to rapidshare

while Mesh is similar to MobileMe

I use Live Favourites, but why not transfering them to Mesh, not SkyDrive?

More folders are need four skydrive this wood very great two have music podcast office popfly videos and etc.And any idea when skydrive on when sky drive will work with live mesh any body have info on this.

Windows Life favorites is not dead at least for me. It is the first think I install on every machine I use.

If they kill it without at least equaling the current functionality I am switching to google.

It's nice to see they'll be cleaning up their services a bit...

But you can't easily search for what your stuff in SkyDrive. Nor does it have Live Favorite's tagging, searching, and top favorites thing.

But maybe a good update will change that. I don't know, but I just think they should combine SkyDrive, Mesh, FolderShare, Messenger Sharing folders, and all that.

I said to Scott yesterday that the favorites folder on skydrive was going to replace Windows Live Favorites.

Looks like I was right :P It makes sense anyway as Live Favorites has been dead for how long now?

yeah, been there for a bit of time now :)

hope they do start to simplify there offerings soon.

btw, the link favourites.live.com is actully meant to be favorites.live.com.
