Not sure if it's related Alber1690, but I know that if you're signed in to http://liveside.net , it does not mean you're signed in to http://www.liveside.net (the difference betwen the "www." in the front). Somehow the cookies doesn't register the that the two addresses are the same website.

@ChaosAngelic: Hmm, did you recently or have you recently been using IE8? I would have to do the same, but I'm just too used to just scrolling down and posting comments. I think it might be an IE8 cookie issue. I added Liveside.net to the always allow list. As of right now, it's worked. I'll post a comment here after 3 or 4 days to fully prove that worked.

Yes, I've been having the same problem, actually. I'm guessing it's probably something in my browser settings. All I have to do is just click the account to log in anyway... so it hasn't bothered me much.

I don't seem to be experiencing this problem. I have been signed in to LiveSide with my Windows Live ID for a month or so and have not had to sign in again.

Very interesting post. I've always wanted to write something up on a similar comparison between the MSN Browser and certain technologies present in Windows and Windows Live services today.

On a side note, has anyone else been experiencing issues with being kept signed in on LiveSide? Every other day or so I find myself having to sign in again, both via Windows Live ID and my credentials here. I'm asking so I can identify if it's an isolated issue or it's affecting others. This started within this last week or so.

Anyone remember 3 degrees. Much of what is in messenger now came from that as well.

This is great... it shows MS has thought this out quite a bit. Unfortunately for them, other (in my opinion, inferior) services have taken over since then, so they'll have to work even harder to get these products out there.
