Make sure hardware requirements are met as well as OS (runs only on Windows 7 and Windows Vista with additional graphics hardware).

Also take note of the following:

Q: Does Pivot run with non-US language and date/number settings?

A: No, not at this time. Pivot only supports English, US (en-US) language settings with US localized date and number formats for this limited release. Our keycode validation may fail if your OS language is not US English, or you may see the application crash when it starts. We hope to support this capability in the future.

Office & Dev Tools division continue to do great work. You don't hear many bloggers talking about it, but I believe Access 2010 ablility to publish databases/forms/reports to SharePoint is going to be a hit.

And I'm thrilled that Silverlight 4 now has WebCam/Microphone support.

If these rumors are true (still unconfirmed by MS), than this is a step in the right direction. I enjoy the Zune. The Zune brand seems very promising.

This makes sense especially with the Zune Marketplace hitting the Xbox 360. Finally Australia get something!

But with the Xbox service being available, and the confirmation in the article above that movie studios are getting on the service, does that mean the Zune Software will be opened up for download in those countries. I believe Microsoft did say that if you download something via the Xbox, you can also watch it on your PC or Zune - suggesting that it would be available.

I hope this leads TV promos to say "You can download X-show on Zune" and not just iTunes, they always make it seem like it's some exclusive deal they have with Apple. Microsoft narrowing down its media platform to the Zune brand will make it easier for other companies to be aware of "the other guy" that also sells their stuff.

I wondered… if the “largest western markets” where the press are has been satisfied, who will speak for the smaller markets who still doesn’t get the Zune then.

After all, the bigger fishes had theirs. Microsoft might never sell the devices in other market and the world wouldn’t care (they got theirs).
