WL OneCare 1.5 RTMs; Available End of January

Windows Live OneCare, which features support for 20 languages besides English, and is built to work on Vista, has been released to manufacturing, and will be available at the end of January, according to the OneCare team blog.  Current users of OneCare will be updated.

For more information on OneCare, visit the Help Center, or the OneCare forums.  Our friend and fellow MVP Stephen Boots was mentioned in the OneCare team blog for his good work on the forums.  He’s a moderator there, along with MVP Eric Vogel, and new MVPs JimR and Rob.  Good work guys!

Oh and one more MVP related item: Congrats also to our own Scott Lovegrove on his award, MVP for Windows Live Messenger!

Thanks for the mention, Kip. :-) Don’t forget that moderator duties of the English language part of the OneCare forum are also shared by Chuck, who may not have been awarded MPV, but his contributions as moderator are also very much appreciated!

    Hello Kip,

Thanks for the mention. I wish I knew you had the contest, I could have donated a few more keys too. I was able to dump a few on my mailing list and on Freecycle.

I sure wish Chuck would have won too!! He deserves it!!

I hope they’ve fixed a bug I found or else it’s the worst antivirus program i’ve ever used.
